PETRO GAZZ ADDS FUEL TO ITS ROSTER WITH MOLINA, PALMA, YANI FERNANDEZ AS NEW COACH
Petro Gazz continues to boost their lineup after securing the services of Frances Xinia Molina, Mary Remy Palma, and new coach Yani Fernandez ahead of the 2021 Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
The Angels had announced on social media Tuesday night the acquisition of both former Petron Spikers of the Philippine SuperLiga.
Molina, a former San Beda Red Lion stalwart, found a new home with Petro Gazz after several seasons in the PSL since 2014.
Moreover, Molina is expected to output great numbers in the offense department as she represented the country in the past two editions of the Southeast Asian Games and became a tough contender for the Blaze Spikers.
Palma, a formidable middle blocker who graduated from the Far Eastern University, will expect to strengthen the net defense of the team following her superb performance with the Blaze Spikers.
Both Molina and Palma are the missing pieces that complete the new roster of the Angles following Kath Arado, Seth Rodriguez, Marivic Meneses, and Mary Ann Mendrez.
Joining the sideline is also new elected assistant coach Yani Fernandez of the University of Santo Tomas to aid head coach Arnold Laniog in building the chemistry of its new faces for the first-ever professional league.
Petro Gazz will be surprising us with their revamped roster competing against the other 7 teams in the 2021 PVL open conference, Creamline Cool Smashers, Choco Mucho, Perlas Spikers, Motolite, BaliPure, Chef’s Classic, Air Force, and Army.
The PVL is slated to kick off its first professional season this April.
