PBA PLAYER CHRIS ROSS OFFICIALLY EARNS COLLEGE DEGREE
Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player and San Miguel Beermen shooting guard Chris Ross have finally earned his college degree from Marshall University.
Ross announced on his Instagram post that he graduated from Marshall University, a West Virginia-based institution.
“I’m proud and giving myself a pat on the back for never giving up on myself and finally getting it done! I’m officially a college graduate!,” Ross said.
Ross, 36, said that completing his degree was ‘a long time coming.’
“I used quarantine as a time to better myself and finishing some things that I didn’t get to finish when I was first presented with the situation,” the eight-time PBA champion said.
He also hoped that he could walk on the stage for his graduation.
“I wish I was able to go back to campus and walk the stage but unfortunately I wasn’t,” he said.
Ross also played in US NCAA Division I school in Huntington, West Virginia from 2005-2007.
