THE local government of Dolores in Quezon distributed school supplies to students to ensure that they have the needed materials to learn.

Dolores Mayor Calayag led the distribution of pencils, notebooks, papers and other school materials at the Paaralang Elementarya ng Antonino.

He was accompanied by Councilors Arth Bagsit, Archie Abrigo, Ai-ai Corabo, Eduard Bait and personnel of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.

School principal Leila Bundalian thanked the officials for the assistance.

“Napakalaking tulong ng programang ito ng lokal na pamahalaan lalo na sa mga mag-aaral na may kakapusan ang pamilya,” she said.

“Ang edukasyon ay isang haligi ng tagumpay, kaya sinisiguro ng ating lokal na pamahalaan na walang batang maiiwan dito sa bayan ng Dolores sa kanyang pag-aaral,” she added.
