THE Department of Education office in Laoag City conducted a two-day benchmarking activity at the Tuguegarao Science High School to ascertain the areas that need improvement.

The activity led by Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Joann Corpuz and Assistant Superintendent Arnel Bandiola was participated in by 18 division office staff members, educators, and officials of the Ilocos Norte National High School.

DepEd said that the benchmarking activity serves as “a crucial step” in ensuring that the Rodolfo G. Farinas, Jr. National High School will be a beacon of educational excellence.

“By examining and learning from successful institutions like the Tuguegarao Science High School, Laoag City’s educational landscape is poised for positive transformation,” it said.

The initiative was in pursuant of Republic Act 10965 which is designed to explore the best practices, identify areas for improvement and enhance educational strategies.
