DEPED CENTRAL LUZON READY FOR SCHOOL OPENING
ALL schools in Region III is ready for the opening of classes next week, the Department of Education said.
DepEd Regional Director May Eclar said the 3,656 public elementary and high schools in the region are prepared and equipped for School Year 2021-2022.
As of September 8, there were 2,054,569 enrollees in all levels in Central Luzon, short of the 2,699,515 target.
To address issues and concerns on school opening, DepEd Region 3 launched its Regional Public Assistance Command Center.
“Learners, parents, and other stakeholders may request assistance from the Regional OBE-PACC,” the department said.
Based on the school readiness report, DepEd Region 3 obtained an average of 81.19 percent of readiness shown by its planning and governance, teacher support, school head support, support to parents and guardians, and health and safety protocols.
However, the report indicated that some factors have to be given attention, such as learning resources, learner support and well-being.
