ANGELES CITY ROLLS OUT ANTI-DENGUE DRIVE
THE CITY government of Angeles City in Pampanga is set to conduct fogging and misting operations in 53 public schools to protect children from dengue.
Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said the operations will be held from August 1 to 26, coinciding with the “Brigada Eskwela” of the Department of Education.
“It is our utmost priority to safeguard the health of every Angeleño, especially our kids. As we all know, rainy season ngayon at may pandemya pa rin po,” Lazatin said.
Angeles City Economic Development Investment Promotions Office chief Irish Bonus has prepared the schedule for fogging and misting while Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel ensured that logistics are readily available.

The Anti-Dengue Task Force’ will be supervised by Manuel.
“This move of the city government is the initiative of Mayor Lazatin to contain the dengue-carrying mosquitoes and prevent them from further breeding,” Manuel said.
The city government also practices the 4S Strategy of the Department of Health — search and destroy breeding places, secure self-protection, seek early consultation, and support fogging or spraying in hotspot areas.
