VICE President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio led the opening of the Mobile E-Learning Hub in Lahug, Cebu City.

The learning hub, a customized container van that can be compared to a computer shop on wheels, is a project of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Learners in remote areas can gain knowledge about information and communications technology through the hub.

The project was made possible through the collaboration of various government agencies and the private sector, the Department of Education said.

“Isa sa mga isinusulong ng MATATAG Agenda ng Department of Education ang pagpapatibay ng nagkakaisang responsibilidad ng pribado at pampublikong sektor sa larangan ng edukasyon,” the agency said. “Patuloy tayong magtulungan para sa isang Bansang Makabata at Batang Makabansa!”
