POE LAUDS MSU’S INITIATIVES SUPPORTING WOMEN AND CHILDREN
OFFICIALS from Mindanao State University-Maguindanao presented their women, children, and nutrition-focused programs to Senator Grace Poe during a courtesy visit to her office.
On September 17, Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti Limbona, along with her team, introduced the Community Advancement Research-Based Extension Services initiative, including Project Ina Ku, Mestra Ku, and Project Live Well.
Senator Poe commended MSU’s efforts in supporting women and children, drawing on her own experience as a teacher to express her appreciation for the initiatives. Poe also encouraged the university to expand its programs to address regional nutrition challenges.
Also present at the meeting were Atty. Camille L. Sevilla, Poe’s Deputy Chief of Staff; Dr. Raquel D. Santiago-Arenas, Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension; Dr. Arceli B. Naraga, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development; Mr. Grant Warren Lu; and Mr. Datu Nazrullah Abdul Rauf S. Macalandong.
