THE PAMANTASAN ng Lungsod ng Maynila said over 5,400 takers passed the first screening of its admission test for Academic Year  2021-2022.

PLM said it received more than 55,000 applications for the incoming school year.

After thorough evaluation of the applicants’ high school records and validation of submitted documents, only 5,457 passed the first screening.

Because of the “new normal” and existing rules and regulations mandated by the government, the university approved a “modified freshmen admissions system” for the incoming school year.

The new system involves a two-step screening process to qualify for a degree program.
