KABATAAN Party-list Rep. Raoul Manuel gave assurance he’s pushing for the welfare and development of Filipino youth in his legislative measures.

As his first step, Manuel filed resolutions implementing a Tuition and Other Fee Increase Moratorium, conducting an immediate review of K to 12, abolishing the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, among other pressing issues for the youth.

“Through the bills and resolutions we filed on our first day in Congress and those that we will file in the coming weeks, we actualize our commitment to advance the 9-point Youth and People’s Agenda,” Manuel said.

At the same time, the solon filed National Filipino Youth Museum Bill and Critical Media Literacy Bill aiming to help develop a genuine sense of patriotism, history and active civic participation among Filipino youth.

The Students’ Rights Bill is also filed to protect democratic rights of students especially for student councils, publications and organizations.

But the solon said they are prioritizing House Bill 251or the Safe School Reopening Bill and HB 252 or the Emergency Student Aid and Relief Bill.
