THE INTER-AGENCY Task Force has allowed higher educational institutions to hold face-to-face classes at 100% classroom capacity, Malacañang said.

Acting deputy presidential spokesperson Kris Ablan said that the IATF issued Resolution 164 on Friday, March 11, allowing full classroom capacity in areas under Alert Level 1.

However, only fully vaccinated students and teaching and non-teaching personnel are allowed to participate in physical classes.

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated learners, on the other hand, will continue under the flexible learning modalities.

The IATF also granted HEIs the discretion to choose which learning modalities they will use as long as there will be continuity of learning.

It likewise lifted restrictions on the operations of student dormitories as long as these have the permission of their respective Local Government Unit.

Before an HEI can resume physical classes, it should take the self-assessment checklist as provided by a joint circular issued by CHED and the Department of Health.
