DOH WARNS PUBLIC VS FB PAGES ADVERTISING PRE-SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

THE DEPARTMENT of Health warned the public against Facebook pages that have been advertising about the agency’s Pre-Service Scholarship Program.
The DOH clarifies that the Pre-Service Scholarship Program is no longer accepting new scholars as of Academic Year 2024-2025.
The Health Department said that the scholarships are now being handled by the Commission on Higher Education.
“Currently, the scholarships are being transitioned to the Commission on Higher Education which has the mandate of education assistance and support,” DOH said in a statement.
