PRESIDENTIAL aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. urged the Department of Education and the Department of Health to protect the mental health and physical well-being of students and teachers during the pilot testing of limited face-to-face classes.

Marcos said the government made the right decision to implement a strict pilot testing of face-to-face classes especially in the National Capital Region since the number of students suffering from mental health problems have increased because of the pandemic and prolonged lockdowns.

The Partido Federal ng Pilipinas standard-bearer cited neighboring countries like China which conducted face-to-face classes with special emphasis on the psychological state of each student and teachers.

“Well, I am confident that our government will take these issues seriously, may inilaan na silang budget para diyan kaya nasisiguro ko na magiging maayos itong pilot testing ng face-to-face classes this coming November 15,” he added.
