THE DEPARTMENT of Education has informed schools that the World of Scouting Museum may be utilized as a learning resource and educational destination for appropriate off-campus activities.

In Advisory No. 154, series of 2026, DepEd highlighted the museum’s relevance to Scouting field activities, experiential learning, learner formation, citizenship, and leadership development.

The department said proposed visits should be clearly aligned with the curriculum or other legitimate educational objectives.

Schools interested in visiting the museum may coordinate with the World of Scouting Museum and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, subject to existing DepEd approval processes and requirements governing off-campus activities.

DepEd also emphasized that participation in museum visits is voluntary and remains subject to the applicable no-collection policy.
