BBM PRODS DEPED: ENSURE SAFE REOPENING OF F2F CLASSES
PRESIDENTIAL aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. urged the Department of Education to ensure the safe reopening of face-to-face classes.
PRESIDENTIAL aspirant Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. urged the Department of Education to ensure the safe reopening of face-to-face classes.
The DEPED allowed 120 schools to conduct limited face-to-face classes beginning November 15 for public schools and November 22 for private schools.
Marcos said that only vaccinated personnel should be deployed for the pilot run of the physical classes.
“Kailangang tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng mga bata at ng mga guro. Pagtibayin ang coordination at cooperation ng lokal na pamahalaan, Department of Health, at Department of Education, para sa maayos na implementation ng programa,” the former senator said.
He said that having limited face-to-face classes is proof that the country is going back to “normal.”
“I’m happy that at least we are trying to start face-to-face classes. It is actually good news because that is a very good sign that, somehow, we are slowly going back to normalcy,” he said.
