THE UNIVERSITY of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines paid tribute to two of its former employees who died this week.

Romero N. Naces, a former faculty member for its Master in Public Sector Innovations- Institute of Governance, Innovations and Sustainability Office died on Tuesday. He was 66 years old.

Naces also served as vice president for Administration and General Services of the Mindanao University of Science and Technology.

The university also paid tribute to Rommel Waban, former driver for the Office of the Chancellor in USTP Cagayan de Oro.

He died on Sunday at the age of 44.

“The USTP community extends its sincere condolences to the bereaved family,” USTP wrote on Facebook.
