QCPSTA SEEKS REVIEW OF SECURITY PROTOCOL AFTER STABBING INCIDENT
THE QUEZON City Public School Teachers Association called for a review of security protocols in schools following the stabbing incident in a school in Quezon City.
A 13-year-old Grade 7 student was stabbed to death by a fellow student in Culiat High School on Friday.
The victim sustained multiple stab wounds in the chest.
“Panawagan natin sa Schools Division Office-Quezon City at mga ahensiya na mareview ang school security protocols upang hindi na maulit ito,” QCPSTA said in a statement.
The association also called for intervention to help those who were affected by the incident.
“Panawagan din natin na mabigyan ng angkop na intervention ang mga sangkot na estudiyante maging mga guro at kawani upang matulungan silang maiproseso ang pangyayari,” it said.
