THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines will resume full face-to-face classes in the second semester of Academic Year 2022-2023.

In a report by The Communicator, the official student publication of PUP’s College of Communication, University President Manuel Muhi said that the university is prepared for the resumption of physical classes.

“Bagama’t excited po ang lahat, maging paramount concern po ay ang safety ng lahat, lalong lalo na po ang ating mga estudiyante, lalo pa ngayon ay mayroon na naman pong lumalabas na highly transmissible na sub-variant ng Omicron kaya mag-ingat po palagi,” Muhi said.

Muhi also called on faculty members and other school employees to cooperate.

PUP has been operating under distance learning and hybrid learning setup since 2020 due to the pandemic.

Senator Pia Cayetano in September asked state universities and colleges to resume face-to-face classes as Covid19 restrictions eased.
