PUP RANKS AMONG TOP UNIVERSITIES IN QS ASIA 2025
THE Polytechnic University of the Philippines has once again secured a spot in the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings for Asia 2025.
PUP ranked seventh among Philippine universities, 92nd in Southeast Asia, and placed within the 541-560 range across Asia.
PUP retained its three-star QS rating, with high scores in specific categories.
The university achieved five stars in Employability and Online Learning, four stars in Teaching, Academic Development, and Inclusiveness, and one star in Global Engagement.
“For the second consecutive year, PUP is recognized among the top universities in Southeast Asia, thanks to the dedication of the entire PUP community,” Dr. Manuel M. Muhi, PUP President, said.
“You can expect that we will continue to raise the bar, not only to meet international standards but also for the benefit of our ‘Iskolar ng Bayan.’ Our goal is to provide our students with the best possible education, empowering them to succeed both locally and globally,” he added.
The 2025 QS World University Rankings assessed 1,503 institutions from 104 countries, using metrics such as academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, and international research collaboration.
