PALAWAN STATE U GETS P25-M FOR SMART CAMPUS PROJECT
THE PALAWAN State University has received funding from the Commission on Higher Education for the implementation of its Smart Campus project.
The school was given P25 million for its “Project I-Connect: Integrated Campus Online Network Navigation and Enterprise-Connect Technology.”
PSU said that the project will help connect its 17 external campuses in the province of Palawan and enhance its Flexible learning capabilities.
The project will enable students within a 10km radius of the campus to connect in a dedicated 1GB bandwidth.
“The PSU Administration also expresses its appreciation to all those who made this effort possible,” PSU said on Facebook.
“The Smart Campus Project will help move Palawan State University into greater heights, in its effort to continue to optimize flexible learning and teaching and finally ensure that NO STUDENT IS LEFT BEHIND,” it added.
