THE MARINDUQUE State College has partnered with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines to introduce two doctorate degree programs.

MSC on Wednesday said that its officials met with officials from the Commission on Higher Education and PUP in Manila.

It plans to start offering Doctorate in Public Administration and Doctorate in Educational Management.

“As part of the requirements to attain full university status, Marinduque State College has initiated talks with the PUP, under the guidance of CHED’s Office of Program Standards Development and in consultation with PUP President Dr. Manuel M. Muhi, to establish two Doctorate programs in Marinduque… in a bid to fulfill university hood requirements,” MSC said on Facebook.

“MSC and PUP officials are now working out the details of the ‘consortium-delivered graduate programs’ that include compilation of documents on faculty profiles, proposed curriculum, feasibility study, physical facilities, library, to name a few,” it added.

CHED also handed Certificates of Program Compliance to 10 MSC programs.
