TO MARK Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Jose Rizal University will hold a webinar on the deadly disease.

The webinar will feature lectures on early detection and common misconceptions about breast cancer.

The school said the webinar aims to “increase attention and support for the movement, early detection, and treatment as well as palliative care of this disease.”

“We join in the cause to help women in need today by providing a free lecture,” JRU said on Facebook.

The lecture will be headed by Dr. Sharlyn Patigas, the head of the JRU Medical and Dental clinic, and the university physician. Claire M Guevarra will be the moderator.

The webinar will be streamed on JRU’s Official Facebook page on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Using the #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth and #PinkRibonDay, the school echoed calls and joined the campaign on breast cancer awareness.
