IFUGAO STATE U UNVEILS DOST-FUNDED PROJECTS
THE Ifugao State University has unveiled two infrastructures funded by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development, to help with the school’s development.
The university unveiled the projects, an Intellectual Property Technology Business Management building, and an Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator program marker last week.
“The IPTBM Center serves as a one-stop hub for researchers/incubatees to manage, protect, and commercialize their intellectual property generated from government-funded research, ” IFSU said on Facebook.
“…the ATBI program, spearheaded by the IPTBM Center, supports the use and commercialization of mature technologies in the AANR sector through technology transfer and the establishment of viable agribusinesses,” it added.
The two projects had a combined budget of P10 million.
IFSU officials led by University President Dr. Eva Marie Codmon-Dugyon and Dr. Noel A. Catibog, Director of the Technology Transfer and Promotion Division of PCAARRD led the ceremony.
