THE FAR Eastern University’s educational research center is set to create a portal to help quash misinformation and disinformation.

The research center will launch the program to correct and verify historical information, a report by Inquirer.net said.

It will be available to teachers, students, and the public to help them determine the validity of the information.

In a survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations in December 2021, 51 percent of those polled said they found it hard to spot false information on television, radio, or social media.
