DAVAO DEL NORTE STATE COLLEGE PAYS TRIBUTE TO FORMER PRESIDENT
THE DAVAO del Norte State College paid tribute to its former president Dr. Edgardo M. Santos who died this month.
Santos was the college president from 2001 to 2010. He retired in June.
“Doc Ems, as we fondly called him, was a catalyst in the College’s nurturance of a culture of excellence in instruction and research. During his time, the Institutional Development Plan Framework was formulated which became a strategic guide for the implementation of the College’s vision and mission,” DNSC said on Facebook.
“He also gave a much-needed attention on the revitalization of program offerings, making sure that they match the standards set by CHED, PRC, TESDA, and other relevant offices,” the school added.
The DNSC noted that Santos’ legacy will remain and aired its condolences to the family of the bereaved.
