THE COMMISSION on Higher Education and the Department of Health approved the conduct of limited face-to-face classes at the Universidad de Zamboanga Pagadian branch.

UZ said on Wednesday said that it met the requirements set by the government for the holding of physical classes.

Officials of CHED, DOH, local government unit and the Inter-Agency Task Force inspected the school’s facilities.

UZ received the certificate for the physical holding of classes and internships for courses like Nursing, Medical Technology, and BS Pharmacy programs.

“As the limited face-to-face classes are gradually implemented, Universidad de Zamboanga continues to innovate and address health and safety crises and uphold a healthy UZ community,” the school said on Facebook.

Meanwhile, UZ said that it has achieved “population immunity” because 85 percent of its personnel have been fully vaccinated against Covid19.
