THE CENTRAL Mindanao University warned the public against a Facebook account claiming to be of the university.

CMU on Tuesday said that Cmu Juan, which used the logo of the university, is not associated with the school.

The said account has been posting political propaganda.

“We urge everyone not to be misled, misinformed, or disinformed by any posts, especially on political issues created by Cmu Juan Facebook Account,” CMU said on Facebook.

“We are finding ways to address the concerns on the use of trademark, logo, and the domain name of the university without permission,” it added.

The CMU urged the public not to engage with the account so as not to compromise their data.
