The Philippines ranked among the lowest in a test on creative thinking by the Program for International Student Assessment or PISA.
The DepEd, based on the second DepEd Basic Education Report of Secretary and Vice President Sara Duterte released last January, built only around 3,600 classrooms in 2023 out of the planned 6,300.
Gabriela Women’s Party called on the Marcos Jr. administration to prioritize addressing the challenges faced by the education sector and veer away from its war agenda with the US.
