EDUCATION Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio handed out laptops to teachers when she visited two schools in Negros Occidental.

She discussed with teachers and students of the Dominador Jison Memorial Elementary School and M. G. Medalla Integrated School the new policies of the Department of Education.

Duterte-Caprio also gave balls for basketball, volleyball and soccer games to students.

Among issues discussed were the implementation of blended learning in time of calamities or instances that the classroom will not be available.

“Panukala din natin ang shifting ng mga klase para sa mga paaralan na may malaking populasyon upang mapababa ang class size at mapagtuunang mabuti ang edukasyon ng mga bata,” the Vice President said.
