THE TECHNICAL Education and Skills Development Authority said that the five additional foreign language courses will be available by September.

“By September, fully operational na ang additional foreign languages natin,” TESDA Deputy Director General for Operations John Bertiz said.

The additional language courses the agency will offer are Italian, French, Mandarin, Arabic and Korean.

The official said the move will help Filipino skilled workers seeking employment abroad.

“This is in response to the demand for, the need of, language training for the job-ready Filipino workforce here and abroad,” Bertiz said.

Currently, TESDA offers English Proficiency for Customer Service Workers, Japanese Language and Culture, Japanese Language and Culture Level II and Spanish Language for Different Vocations.
