PRMSU, UPV INK PACT ON ACADEMIC COLLABORATION
THE PRESIDENT Ramon Magsaysay State University and the University of the Philippines Visayas signed an agreement on academic collaboration.
The partnership will pave the way for the conduct of research and training activities between PRMSU and the Philippine Genome Center which is under the UPV.
It aims to “expand collaborative activities in bioinformatics and omics-related areas of mutual interest.”
The collaboration will also lead to the exchange of scientists between the two institutions.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed online by representatives of the two institutions.
The PRMSU was represented by Dr. Elizabeth Farin, vice president for Research and Development, while UP was represented by Dr. Clement Camposano, chancellor of UP Visayas.
