THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines will release the results of its college application for Academic Year 2022-2023 on May 31.

In an advisory posted on its Facebook page, the university advised the applicants to make sure that the email address they used in the application portal is active, can be accessed and can send and receive new emails.

“If the email address you provided is no longer accessible, please email your concern at [email protected],” it said.

For two consecutive years, UP suspended the UPCAT because of the Covid19 pandemic.

Without an admission exam, students are assessed based on their high school performance.

“In the absence of a college admission test, a composite of the final grades in Grades 8, 9, 10 and 11 shall be the basis to determine the UPG,” UP said.

The university may ask for additional requirements for specific degree programs for admission if deemed necessary.

To implement the policy of democratic access, the university will also consider socioeconomic and geographic factors in its admission process.
