OVER 7,000 students took the entrance exam in the West Visayas State University for Academic Year 2022-2023.

The university said the admission test was held from May 11 to 14.

The examinees came from Iloilo City and other provinces like Capiz, Aklan, Antique, Guimaras, and Negros.

The College of Nursing had the most number of applicants with 2,928; followed by the College of Business and Management with 1,394; and College of Arts and Sciences, 1,103.

The other colleges with number of applicants are as follows – College of Education (968), College of Information and Communications Technology (557), College of Dentistry (316), College of Pescar (197), and College of Communication (95).

Meanwhile, the WVSU’s external campuses also conducted entrance exam on May 15.

The Lambunao campus had the most number of examinees at 1,880.

It was followed by Janiuay Campus (1,291), Himamaylan Campus (1,050), Pototan Campus (924), Calinog Campus (443), and the College of Agriculture and Forestry in Lambunao (304).
