TAGUIG TO OPEN 5 NEW SCHOOL BUILDINGS
THE TAGUIG City government will open five new school buildings as part of its preparation for the resumption of face-to-face classes.
The Ciriaco P. Tiñga Elementary School in Barangay Hagonoy and the Ricardo P. Cruz Sr. Elementary school in Brgy. New Lower Bicutan will each have a 7-story school building.
Meanwhile, the Tipas Elementary School Annex Building in Brgy. Calzada-Tipas, Bagong Tanyag Elementary School Main in Brgy. Tanyag and the Kapt. Jose Cardones Memorial Elementary School in Brgy. South Signal will each have a 4-storey building with covered court.
All school buildings are equipped with air-conditioning units, ceiling fans.
Mayor Lino Cayetano said that the projects pushed through despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
“I am very happy with the results. All the credit goes to all the hardworking local government personnel who wholeheartedly performed their duties for the benefit of Taguigeños,” Cayetano said.
He vowed to pursue projects that will benefit Taguigeño students.
“Investing in our students is a priority. We want to help them succeed in life,” Cayetano said.
“Taguig will also reap the benefits as our students become productive members of society who will contribute on their own to the continued progress of the city,” the mayor added.
