LEYTE NORMAL U SPEARHEADS HOLDING OF FIRST FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN REGION 8

THE LEYTE Normal University will be the first higher education institution in Region 8 to be allowed to hold face-to-face classes.

The university qualified to hold in-person learning after complying with the requirements of the CHED-Department of Health Joint Memorandum Circular, as per the Commission on Higher Education Region 8.

Physical classes will start by the second semester of Academic Year 2021-2022 for courses on tourism management, hotel management, and information technology programs.

“…it was emphasized that only fully-vaccinated students and faculty can participate in the limited F2F classes, theoretical courses, and lectures shall still be done online,” said CHED R8.

LNU also secured a safety seal from the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
