STUDENTS of the Unibersidad de Zamboanga received P5,000 aid from the Commission on Higher Education under the Bayanihan 2 for Higher Education Tulong Program.

The B2HELP program provides subsidies to students in higher education institutions.

The commission provided the cash aid to 200 students of the Unibersidad de Zamboanga.

The beneficiaries were picked through the Department of Student Affairs and Services and the Student Accounts Section based on the criteria set by CHED.

Students with the highest unpaid balance and with no failed grades were given the cash assistance.

B2HELP is part of the government’s program to extend help to students enrolled in public and private HEIs.
