Attention, Agents! After the exciting patch notes in Valorant, Release of Arcane, Riot also announced Riot Client.

Introducing Riot Client

Riot titles have previously been using a multi-game client, but it has been customized for each individual game and does not allow users to cross platforms. Riot Games is currently working on a new user interface launcher with simplified functionality that offers clients seamless log-in (as well as purchases in the future) across all Riot Games called Riot Client. For those unfamiliar with Riot, Riot is the company behind Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, VALORANT, Wild Rift, and League of Legends (LOL).

The launcher is much like a central station for games to transport you to different places at ease. So far, this feature is similar to Steam. Steam is a video game digital distribution service by Valve where you can find and update all your downloaded PC games in one place.

Some players are excited for this update, but some are not.

Riot Client Launch Date

The pilot testing has already started on September 20. After a few weeks of testing to ensure reliability, the client will be made available to all gamers globally beginning October 4. According to Riot, the worldwide launch date is subject to change if the team requires any updates or changes. For more details about the new Riot Games project, visit their website.
