UAAP champion National University (NU) aims for a second victory against Emilio Aguinaldo College in the 2024 V-League Collegiate Challenge at Paco Arena on Sunday at 10 a.m.

Michaelo Buddin and Leo Aringo Jr. will lead the Bulldogs. NU assistant coach Dong Dela Cruz emphasized the importance of preparation, noting that “there are no weak teams in the V-League.”

In another men’s match, Ateneo de Manila faces Far Eastern University (FEU) at noon. The winner will potentially tie with NU at 2-0. Aimar Okeke will lead the Blue Eagles, while Mikko Espartero and Dryx Saavedra will guide the Tamaraws.

In the women’s division, defending champion College of Saint Benilde and FEU, both coming off losses, will clash at 3 p.m.

The University of the East (UE) Lady Warriors defeated the Lady Blazers 3-0, and the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons overcame FEU in a five-set thriller.

UAAP runner-up University of Santo Tomas (UST), which won against Lyceum of the Philippines University, will face UE at 5 p.m.

UST head coach Kungfu Reyes highlighted the need for adjustments, noting the impact of new and returning players on the team.
