PFF President Mariano “Nonong” Araneta said that they are on the road of negotiations to get Alen to work with the Philippine Malditas once again.

“We have to talk to Coach Alen, because of course, he has brought the team to where it is now, and we want him to continue until probably the World Cup next year,” said Araneta during the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum yesterday.

Araneta also shared that they will do everything to get Alen saying that “whatever it takes to get him.”

While PFF Secretary-General Atty. Edwin Gastanes revealed that it is not only the coach that they are going to contract with but as well as Nahuel Arrarte and Italian strength and conditioning coach Luca Tonetti.

“Our first objective is to secure the services of Coach Alen and his team. Hindi biro — he’s one of the best women’s coaches in the world,” he said.

“What he needs, we will give,” Gastanes assured.

If Alen would accept then he would be part of the Lady Booters journey in Hanoi Southeast Asian Games, ASEAN Football Championships in Manila, and the Asian Games in China.
