THE TECHNOLOGICAL Institute of the Philippines is investigating a reported bomb threat circulated on social media, stressing that it is treating the matter with utmost seriousness and is not dismissing it as a mere prank.

In an official statement, TIP said it has coordinated with the appropriate authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and determine the circumstances surrounding the reported threat.

The institution emphasized that bomb jokes, threats, or any similar acts are serious violations of school policies and may carry legal consequences.

TIP  urged its students, faculty members, employees, and the entire school community to remain calm and vigilant while monitoring official announcements and advisories.

The school also encouraged everyone to immediately report any suspicious activities or information to the proper authorities to help ensure campus safety.

While TIP said it does not want to provide unnecessary attention to malicious acts, it reiterated that protecting the safety and security of its students, personnel, and visitors remains its top priority.
