JEM FERRER COMMITS TO FLYING TITANS, REUNITE WITH FELLOW LADY EAGLE
Veteran setter Jam Ferrer committed to a new family, Choco Mucho Flying Titans, for the next Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season.
The Flying Titans announced the commitment of the former Ateneo setter in their social media pages on Monday.
“(I am) looking forward to grow more with my new family,” Ferrer said in a message to ABS-CBN News.
“I’m really excited to share my experiences with them, and I can’t wait na makumpleto kami.”
The multi-awarded setter is set to have a new start and will reunite with fellow Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles Deanna Wong, Maddie Madayag, Ponggay Gaston, Kat Tolentino, Denden Revilla, Kim Gequillana and Bea De Leon.
Ferrer has been a key player for Perlas Spikers since 2017. She also played for BaliPure in 2016 and PLDT from 2013 to 2015.
“Jem Ferrer, being a multi-awarded setter and an older sister — a veteran Lady Eagle — to most of my players, can help us in terms of leadership. We also know that Jem is a very hard-working athlete, and her never give up attitude will suit our style and system,” Choco Mucho coach Oliver Almadro told ABS-CBN News.
The next PVL is set to kickoff its new season in the first quarter of 2022.
