ADMU KEEPS ONSITE CLASSES AMID SEPT. 14–15 TRANSPORT STRIKE

/ 14 September 2026

THE ATENEO Ade Manila University has announced class arrangements for September 14 and 15, 2026, in view of the nationwide transportation strike scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

Undergraduate and graduate classes under the Schools of Education and Learning Design, Humanities, Management, Science and Engineering, and Social Sciences will primarily proceed onsite.

The university said the arrangement reflects its commitment to academic formation and curricular goals while recognizing the importance of face-to-face instruction, particularly for laboratory work, collaborative learning, and hands-on activities.

Students who are unable to attend onsite classes due to transportation constraints are advised to immediately inform their course instructors.

Faculty members, meanwhile, are encouraged to extend consideration and flexibility to affected students and explore the use of a hybrid modality when appropriate.

The university also emphasized the importance of open communication between faculty members and students in addressing disruptions caused by the transport strike.

Students with immediate concerns may contact the university’s student support office, while faculty members may coordinate with their respective department chairs, program directors, or deans.

For the Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Law, Government, and Business, their respective deans will issue separate announcements based on the circumstances of their schools.
