THE LOCAL  government of Lucena City has vowed to work closely with the Department of Education in the implementation of distance learning.

The city helped print learning materials by donating equipment to ensure that all of the 50,000 students will be provided the tools needed for their education. The distribution of printed materials started on September 17, 2020.

The Education department in Lucena City will also provide supplemental lessons on television.

These lessons will be shown for seven hours via Quezon CATV Channel 12 from Monday to Friday.

The video lessons can also be watched on the Facebook page of DepEd-Lucena. Kindergarten learners will be provided USB that they can use to watch these video lessons.

The city also distributed school supplies to students from kindergarten to Grade 12 and those enrolled in the Alternative Learning System.
