THE DEPARTMENT of Education should expand its limited face-to-face classes in Covid19-free areas, Sorsogon Governor and senatorial candidate Francis ‘Chiz’  Escudero said.

Escudero said that he has been asking the Inter-Agency Task Force and DepEd to allow more schools to open.

“Matagal ko nang panawagan sa IATF at sa DepEd na sana ay mas palawakin pa ang limited classes na ito,” he said.

The governor said he hopes that more Sorsogon schools will conduct in-person classes as most areas in the province were not affected by Covid19.

“I hope they could eventually expand the list and include more schools from Sorsogon,” he said.

Buenavista Elementary School in Bacon, Sorsogon is the only one included in the pilot run of F2F classes on November 15.
