CARLOS Yulo wrapped up his Asian Games campaign with a fourth-place finish in the men’s parallel bars final Friday at the Nagoya General Gymnasium.

Yulo, who had already secured gold medals in the floor exercise and vault, posted 14.300 points in his final event but fell just short of the podium.

China’s Zou Jingyuan captured the gold with 15.500 points, built on a 6.0 difficulty score and 9.400 execution mark, including a 0.1 bonus.

Japan’s Shinnosuke Oka took the silver with 14.500, while Uzbekistan’s Rasuljon Abdurakhimov claimed bronze after scoring 14.433.

Despite missing out on another medal, Yulo finished the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games as the Philippines’ standout performer, accounting for both of the country’s gold medals so far in the continental competition.

The result capped another major international campaign for Yulo, the Philippines’ first double Olympic gold medalist.

His younger brother, Eldrew Yulo, is scheduled to compete in the men’s horizontal bar final later Friday, marking the last event for the Philippine men’s artistic gymnastics team at the Games.
