THE DEPARTMENT of Science and Technology – Provincial Science and Technology Center has given indigenous learners in Nueva Ecija electronic equipment for flexible learning.

The department handed out 204 learning tablets and 204 two-way radio to help the IP learners with their studies.

DOST-PSTC said that the radio, developed by Frontlearners, can be used to discuss subjects while the tablets will be used to access visual aids.

“Through this technology, the teaching and learning can be delivered even if the students are in the comfort of their homes,” DOST-PSTC Nueva Ecija said.

The chosen beneficiaries of the projects are IPs from the Camatchile Elementary School, Malinao Elementary School and Gawad Kalinga Elementary School in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija.

A turn-over ceremony was conducted on Monday, which was attended by officials from DOST, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology Gabaldon Campus, Provincial Science & Technology Office Nueva Ecija.
