DEPED-BACOLOD TO OPEN 3 MORE SCHOOLS FOR F2F CLASSES
THE DEPARTMENT of Education office in Bacolod is considering opening three more schools for limited face-to-face classes.
Councilor Renecito Novero, chairperson of the City Council committee on education, said that the Alberto Arceo Sr. Elementary School, Rafael Alunan Elementary School, both in Barangay Alangilan; and Fr. Gratian Murray Integrated School in Barangay Granada will be open by March 2021.
Novero said they are waiting for the result of the evaluation of the Alangilan National High School which conducted limited face-to-face classes for Grade 12 students.
The ANHS complied with the requirements of the Emergency Operations Center to ensure the safety of students, teachers and personnel, Novero said.
Schools Division Superintendent Gladys Amylaine Sales earlier said 20 students participated in the pilot run of face-to-face classes.
