THE PROVINCIAL government of Bataan will soon issue ATM cards to students under its scholarship program.

Representatives of the province met with officials of the Landbank of the Philippines – Bataan Branch to discuss the matter.

In an update from the Iskolar ng Bataan’s Facebook page, the province said that the venues for the distribution of the ATM cards are being prepared.

The distribution of the cards may happen by the end of October or November, the Office of Iskolar ng Bataan said.

“With these, the team has decided to have an ocular visitation to check the safest venue for all recipients that adheres to the health and safety protocols,” the office said.

“While waiting for the official schedule of the ATM card distribution, the Office would like to remind Iskolars to prepare the requirements needed during the ATM Card Distribution to avoid the delay in the said distribution,” it added.

The distribution of the scholarship grant was changed into a cashless process amid the Covid19 pandemic.
