BANGSAMORO EDUCATION MINISTRY WARNS VS BRIBERY
THE BANGSAMORO Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education warned applicants not to resort to bribery to land a job in the agency.
It issued the warning following reports that some employees were bribed by applicants or personnel who wanted to be promoted.
The ministry said that it does not condone corrupt practices. It asked the public to report such incidents.
“The MBHTE does not ask or demand any money or other forms of inducement or incentive from the applicants of the Ministry. Any illegal and unauthorized collection of payment must be reported to the Ministry for proper investigation and imposition of appropriate legal actions,” it said on Facebook.
The ministry urged applicants or those with transactions not to entertain any demand for payment in exchange for hiring or promotion.
It said that applications are thoroughly evaluated by the Regional Human Resource Management Promotion and Selection Board based on the credentials of applicants.
