THE UNITED States Embassy will conduct a series of free webinars for high school students and professionals interested in studying in US colleges and universities.

On November 16, Education USA will host a live webinar with Hamilton College for its EdUSA Maritime Regional Network.

On November 17, an EducationUSA Application Clinic will be held for Grade 12 students.

On Wednesday, an essay contest will be held. Winners will get Apple iPad tablets.

Meanwhile, an alumni fair will be held on Thursday where participants can meet Filipino EducationUSA alumni and discuss possible school options.

The webinar series will culminate with an Application Drive for graduate students and an Open Online Course on applying to US universities. The online course is in partnership with American Spaces.

According to data from the Institute of International Education, there were 3,320 Filipinos studying in the US in 2019.
